Peter McQuaid is a dynamic and innovative Executive Chef based in Phoenix, Arizona, known for his profound passion for the culinary arts and hospitality industry. As the Executive Chef at The Americano, a sophisticated modern Italian-inspired steakhouse in Scottsdale, Peter showcases his culinary creativity through a meticulously crafted menu
that highlights the finest seasonal ingredients.  Peter's culinary journey has garnered widespread attention, including being featured on the cover of Icon Magazine and The Entertainer! Magazine. He is a familiar face on local news networks and a regular participant in food and wine festivals, as well as other prestigious culinary events.
Beyond the kitchen, Peter's culinary talent has shone on the national stage. He is a Food Network three-time Chopped Champion named Grand Champion in the "Chopped: Spin it to Win it" tournament, captivating audiences with his innovative approach to cooking.
He has also demonstrated his skills on Food Network's "Beat Bobby Flay" and was a finalist on Cooking Channel's "Battle of the Decades." Peter's career is distinguished by leadership roles at several renowned establishments, including Executive Chef positions at CALA Scottsdale and Money, Baby! in Las Vegas, as well as Executive Sous Chef at Forest Highlands Country Club in Flagstaff, Arizona. Earlier in his career, he served as Sous Chef at Elements at the Sanctuary Resort on Camelback Mountain in Paradise Valley, AZ, where he refined his skills in fine dining. Trained at the International Culinary Center in New York City, Peter earned an Associate in Arts (A.A.) in Professional Culinary Arts and further honed his craft under Chef Daniel Boulud at the esteemed Restaurant Daniel. His dedication and talent have earned him numerous accolades, including the James Beard Foundation Taste America Award and
recognition as the best up-and-coming chef in the valley by Phoenix Magazine. Peter is committed to giving back, actively participating in charitable culinary events and raising significant funds for various causes.
