Troy Johnson
Troy is an award-winning food writer who’s been a host and cooking competition judge on Food Network for 13 years. He and his wife Claire own San Diego Magazine, telling the stories of the Southern California food culture. In 2011 he wrote and hosted his first primetime TV series for Food Network (“Crave”), and has since been a judge on over 150 episodes of “Guy’s Grocery Games” with Guy Fieri. He’s been featured as a food expert on “Iron Chef,” “Best Thing I Ever Ate,” and shows for Travel Channel, NatGeo, Cooking Channel, and PBS. His humor has been featured in CNN, Washington Post, Buzzfeed, Reader’s Digest, and Funny or Die!. He got a poetry degree and managed to somehow still find employment.
